ADMISSIONS INTAKES
SIU academic year consists of 36 weeks split into two semesters of 18 weeks each, the first beginning in September.
SIU, a non-profit institution, has been established and is committed to provide quality tertiary education services to the Somali people.
We have international hubs in the other regions of Africa to facilitate our students’ learning experience in the other parts of the world from internship, scholarship and other opportunities utilized by our students.
We have 16 different bachelor programs and two master programs available for our students. Get to SIU and choose your dream program.
SIU has a vibrant and sound environment suited for both learning and teaching. Our students will have access to different facilities in the university for smooth learning experience.

The Common Application is required for students applying to any or all of KU’s three degree. You’ll be able to choose your campus and program s that you are interested.
