Welcome to Somali International University Faculty of Education. Our vision is to be a globally competitive hub for preparing professional educationalists, mentors, and researchers for the enhancement of humanity's welfare.
The faculty, established in 2017, has grown significantly, now enrolling over 70 students across six professional departments: Biology & Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics, Geography & English, History & English, English & Literature, and Special Needs Education.
Our faculty attracts students from all over the country and beyond. This growth is driven by our tradition of quality education and experienced academic staff, with the Dean overseeing operational activities supported by a dedicated administrator.
We are committed to quality assurance through periodic reviews and stakeholder feedback. Our staff plays a significant role in advancing the Somali education sector through workshops, innovative pedagogies, and research collaborations with global partners. We also participate in international conferences and contribute to academic publications.
We embrace the principles of governance and professionalism while advancing our vision and mission in the service of humanity through education.
